Lynn Van, B.S., D.D.S.
Dr. Lynn Van was raised in Honolulu, Hawaii and has resided in Florida for the last 15 years. Dr. Van received her Bachelors of Science in Microbiology from the University of Florida in 2000. After her undergraduate studies, Dr. Van pursued a Doctorate in Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from Indiana University in Indianapolis.
During both terms of her studies, Dr. Van was recognized for her academic achievements via the Dean’s List. During and at the completion of her clinical training, Dr. Van held a clinical ranking of #1, out of 100 clinicians. Dr. Van graduated with an overall academic ranking of 13 out of 100 students, earning several awards for clinical excellence at the completion of her studies. Dr. Van is a proud National Coca-Cola Scholar.
In 2004, Dr. Van was recognized by the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry for her work in cosmetic dentistry. Having been licensed as a Cosmetologist for the past 12 years, Dr. Van incorporates both her academic and esthetics-oriented background into her dentistry. She continues to study extensive in all aspects of dentistry, as she believes cutting-edge, up-to-date knowledge, is her best tool for offering patients optimal care.
Aside from general dentistry, Dr. Van has studied in the area of wound healing. Dr. Van devoted 4 years of clinical research to the Wound Institute at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL. In addition to wound care, Dr. Van’s research background also includes clinical research involving children with cleft palates.
Dr. Van is the eldest of 8 children in her family. Raised by a set of parents who believe hard work and a genuine heart are the keys to lifelong success, Dr. Van strives to accomplish just so.

Dr. Ishbel Nieves, B.S., D.M.D.
Dr. Ishbel Nieves was born and raised in Puerto Rico, and has resided in Florida for the last 18-months. She received her Bachelors degree in Biology with emphasis in the Human Anatomy from the University of Puerto Rico in 2003. In 2007 Dr. Nieves graduated from the University of Puerto Rico: School of Dental Medicine obtaining a Doctorate in Dental Medicine. After her graduate studies, Dr. Nieves moved to Gainesville, Florida to pursue a General Practice Residency certificate from the Malcom Randall, VA Medical Center. It was during this program that Dr. Nieves had the opportunity to work with medically compromised dental patients as well as widen her knowledge in several areas of general dentistry and diagnosis and treatment of oral-facial pain. Dr. Nieves believes that the patient should be treated with respect and kindness, meanwhile providing quality dental care.
Dr. May Chen, B.S., D.M.D.
Dr. Chen attended Case Western University for her undergraduate studies. She then completed her dental degree at the University of Florida, College of Dentistry (Class of 1999). After obtaining her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD), she attended the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Gainesville, FL where she completed her General Practice Residency (GPR)..
Dr. Chen has been the recipient of the Pierre Fauchard Academy Award, presented at University of Florida College of Dentistry. This is an International Award awarded by the Pierre Fauchard Academy. The Pierre Fauchard Academy, founded in 1936, is an honorary society based on service and commitment to high standards and fellowship in dentistry. Members strive to achieve excellence on behalf of patients and to encourage sharing of information among peers.

Hi my name is Lauren. I am a Registered Dental Hygienist. My background in dentistry started 7 years ago as a dental assistant. After realizing a strong passion for dentistry and helping others, I decided to further my education in dental hygiene. I received an Associate in Science degree in Dental Hygiene at Valencia Community College. My favorite part of being a dental hygienist is being able to provide our patients with gentle hands on care, while providing you with valuable information necessary in preventing dental disease. Hello, my name is Jessica. I am a Registered Dental Hygienist, graduate of Valencia Community College. I have worked in the General Dentistry field of Hygiene as well as Periodontics. I have a passion for Dental Hygiene and the Oral Hygiene education of my patients. My purpose is to provide you with the standard of care you deserve. Some things that keep me going in life are my two pugs Frank and Gabi and graduated with a bachelors in Health Sciences at UCF. Hey there! My name is Donna. My passion for dentistry started 28 years ago when I got my first dental assisting job. After working for a couple of years, I decided to become a hygienist. I graduated from Armstrong State College in Savannah, GA with an Associate degree in Dental Hygiene in 1987. My dedication to the profession continued as I received my Bachelors Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2005 from St. Petersburg College. I think what keeps me going after all these years are my patients and the joy that comes from getting to know them personally and knowing that I have helped them improve their oral health and their smile. My best buddy is my Airedale named Molly. I am currently at the office 2-3 days a week and I look forward to meeting each and every one of you!
